What I Wore | Elbow Patches

(jumper and jeans - Primark, slip-ons - Topshop)

This a very simple outfit that kind of sums up what I'd normally wear on a day to day basis especially when I'm just going to lectures at uni or not doing anything particularly exciting. I always find myself going for a jumper as it's the perfect 'quick-chuck-it-on' piece that's comfortable and easy to pair with jeans, leggings and whatnot. Subtle details like the elbow patches on this jumper also helps to make the outfit that slightly more interesting even though it's pretty simple and basic. x

What I Wore | Beanie and Parka

(jumper - Monki, leggings - River Island, slip-ons - Topshop, coat and beanie - Primark)

It's so cold outside today, I'm not sure if it's because we've had sun for a few days and I've gotten used to it or the temperature have just dropped. Regardless, a parka is a must and mine was from Primark. Underneath I wore an oversized jumper from Monki, some leggings and my go-to slip-ons from Topshop. Oh and I chucked a beanie on too! x

What I Wore | Pop of Blue

(jumper and rings - Primark, leggings - Missguided, slip-ons - Topshop, jacket - Dorothy Perkins)

So happy the sun's been showing up a lot more recently and what does one do when the sun's out? Wear a bit of colour of course! I don't think it's quite as warm yet to be sporting a full-on spring outfit but nothing a bit of bright blue can't fix. I think it's the perfect transition colour and the jumper's great for this not-so-warm but not-so-cold weather as well! To keep it simple, I wore it with highwaisted leggings and my Topshop slip-ons. x

What I Wore | Foxy

(dress - ASOS, jacket - New Look, leggings - Primark, boots - Choies)

This is the most amazing smock dress ever, I just love the print on it! It was originally from ASOS and it's just gorgeous. Here I wore it with my aviator jacket from New Look, some tights and my Choies cut out boots. It's a very simple outfit but with such a beautiful print, I don't think there's much else to do really. What do you think? x

What I Wore | All Black Night Out

(crop top - Primark, jacket - Dorothy Perkins, treggings and necklace - Topshop, boots - Choies)

It's Friday, woohoo! I love weekends because I can lounge around as much as I want and you can go on nights out without having to worry about the stress of tomorrow. Here's something I put together for a night out with friends sometime ago. Nothing too flashy because it's still pretty cold outside and frankly, a small dress with heels, no matter how pretty, is just gonna give me hypothermia. So I decided to wear some thick high waisted leggings, mine's from Topshop, a crop top, some cut out boots and a black leather-suede jacket. Lastly, a pop of red on the lips to give it a touch of colour. I haven't been going out much recently but I'll be out tonight for a friends birthday. What are you guys up to this weekend? x

What I Wore | It's Cold Outside

(dress - Ark, jacket - Dorothy Perkins, tights, scarf and beanie - Primark, boots - Office)

I feel like it's been cold forever but soon it'll be spring and everything will go back to being nice and warm again. However there's a part of me that just doesn't want it to go away. I just enjoy dressing up in jumpers and wearing beanies, scarves, boots and whatnot. I'm definitely becoming more of a winter dresser, what's happening to me? Aha! Then again, I'll probably change my mind once it's actually sunny. Who knows, eh? For now, I'm gonna  keep cosy and make the most out of layering and wearing my warm clothes. x

What I Wore | A Bit of Tartan

(top - Monki, jacket and beanie - Primark, leggings - Missguided, flats - & Other Stories)

I've mentioned before how I like to dress pretty casually especially when I'm at uni and here's a good example of what I normally put together. It's the typical shirt and leggings pairing which is pretty boring especially with a plain white tee. So to make it more exciting, I wore this tartan-leather jacket from Primark as well as my pointed flats from & Other Stories. Also wore a beanie because my hair was an absolute mess that day! x

What I Wore | All Black Everything

 (shirt - ASOS, leggings - H&M, boots - Tesco, coat - Primark)

Although I try to inject as much colour into my wardrobe as possible, now and again I still end up in all black everything. Typical I know, but I love black! Who doesn't? Anyway, this one's not so bad as the shirt's embellished with little silver studs, which by the way make me look like I'm wearing a modern armour! I wasn't really sure how to style this one so I just opted for the good old leggings and boots combination. Then I popped on my dark navy coat from Primark. See, it's not all black after all! x

What I Wore | Combined Fabrics

 (top - Wholesale-Dress.Net, jacket - Dorothy Perkins, leggings - H&M, shoes - Converse)

This was shot in late October and I've only just gotten around to posting it. Oooops! Here I wore this denim-jersey shirt along with some leggings, my trustee Converse and a leather-suede jacket. When I was thinking of a title for this look, it struck me that the top and jacket have combined fabrics! I don't think I even noticed on the day I wore it, so it's totally coincidental. Looking back, I kind of really like it actually. Mixing fabrics is such a nice way to break conventional garments and thinking about it, my wardrobe's got a handful! Oh and yes, I did cut my hair short... x
