End of Year 2013

It's New Year's Eve and I hope you're all having a good one. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new year and there's so much to look forward to! I had such a great time being at my parents' for the Holidays and here's some of the decoration they had around the house, I thought I'd share it before it all gets taken down.

We're not doing anything particularly interesting for New Year's but it's definitely been a good year! I've blogged pretty well overall, considering it was my first year of doing actual/dedicated blogging. I really hope to continue more in the upcoming year and also be more consistent. I'm turning 21 this year too and will be graduating in July, hopefully if I pass. Aha! So many things are happening for me in 2014, and I'm quite scared for what's about to come but at the same time, I can't wait! What are you guys looking forward to in the next year? & Other Stories 'Abigail Lorick' slippers £55

I love & Other Stories, especially their shoes. This is my first pair from them and it's gorgeous! I paid £55 for them which isn't too bad considering it's real leather and they've made it so well. The leather is so soft and the lining is really nice too. They're pretty comfortable but I wouldn't suggest running in them due to the pointed toe. I've worn this a lot during the warmer months. However, I probably won't wear them again for a while seeing as the bad weather will probably ruin them. It's such a nice take on the regular black flats and they're definitely one to make an outfit that bit sharper. x

Hi guys, it's been a while since I last made a post, blame deadlines week and the Christmas period! Anyway, here's a haul for now. I got two Topshop dresses — one, a bright blue printed skater dress and the other, a loose dark purple speckled smock dress. I also bought a b&w 'love' oversized tee and my boyfriend got me a cold drink Starbucks tumbler. Hopefully, I get to make more posts in the upcoming weeks. The holidays are always such a busy time but I hope you're all enjoying it! x

I'm in the process of slowly going through my wardrobe, deciding which items to keep and which ones not to. I haven't gone far but I found this dress as I rummaged through my closet. I got it a couple years back and only wore it several times. I actually really like it so I paired it with my brown boots, some leggings and an oversized cardigan! Also popped on a red lipstick to tie everything together. I'm definitely going to keep this for now especially as I haven't got anything similar to it. The print is so interesting and I really love that it has very earthly tones to it. Even better, it's in a skater style which suits my frame the best! x

Zara is definitely one for finding pieces that are likely to be staples in your wardrobe. Here I have a white oversized v-neck shirt (featured here), loose jogger-type trousers and a pair of black strap sandals. I love these pieces so much and I can't get enough of them! I definitely want more stuff from Zara, I mean it's become one of my favourite places to shop. Everything is just so beautiful... x

This is the last pair out of the three that I got from Everything5Pounds and it's this black and wood-like sandals/slippers. It's not something I'd wear now but it just shows the variety of stuff you can get off the site. I mean for £5, this is pretty good. This became my go-to summer flats and I'm probably going to bring it out again next year. By the way, I'm not being sponsored. It just so happened that I purchased a few pairs hence the posts. But yeah, like I mentioned, it's a great place to shop for cool pieces that are really cheap, especially if you're on a budget! x
